Celestron Origin Mark II – Intelligent Home Observatory
Celestron introduces the next generation of its intelligent home observatory – Origin Mark II. The system combines a 6-inch RASA astrograph (f/2.2) with an Alt-Az Go-To mount, an upgraded Sony IMX678 STARVIS 2 camera, and a built-in Raspberry Pi 4 computer with AI image processing. Everything is controlled wirelessly via the Celestron Origin app on iOS or Android. Results can be streamed to multiple devices simultaneously, including smart TVs.

For long-exposure deep-sky imaging, add the Celestron equatorial wedge to eliminate field rotation. For exposures beyond 30 seconds, the StarSense AutoGuider is recommended. In cold weather, battery life drops – keep an external power source or power station handy.
